Red Roofs at Oldfield is located in Maidenhead - known as the "Jewel of the Thames" - in Berkshire, England. Windsor, with its famous castle and LegoLand, is 15 minutes drive. London Heathrow Airport 30 minutes drive. Central London 35 minutes by train. Oxford and the Cotswolds 45 minutes drive. Numerous other places of interest within easy reach including Henley-on-Thames, Ascot, Wentworth golf course, Hampton Court and Thorpe Park.

The Fat Duck and Waterside Inn restaurants in Bray, both Michelin 3 star, are a short distance away - and as a special treat we can take you to the Waterside Inn in our own electric launch boat.

Ten minutes walk to Boulter's Lock, the most famous lock on the River Thames. Several Thames-side restaurants are within walking distance. Maidenhead town centre is close by for more restaurants, pubs and the station.

Directions

From London on the M4

Leave motorway at junction 7. Follow the A4 towards Maidenhead. As you go over the River Thames (Maidenhead Bridge), immediately turn left at the mini-roundabout. Red Roofs at Oldfield is on the left after about 50 m.

From the West on the M4

Leave motorway at junction 8/9. Take the A308(M) towards Maidenhead. Turn left at the roundabout on to the A308. Follow this road as it snakes round Maidenhead town centre. Turn right at a large roundabout on to the A4 towards Slough. Go straight over 2 large roundabouts. The next roundabout is a mini-roundabout by a Texaco petrol station on the left just before Maidenhead Bridge - turn right here. Red Roofs at Oldfield is on the left after about 50 m.

From the M40

Take junction 4 and head towards Maidenhead on the A404(M). After several miles turn left on the A4 towards Maidenhead. Continue straight on through a number of roundabouts and traffic lights. You will soon see a mini-roundabout by a Texaco petrol station on the left just before Maidenhead Bridge - turn right here. Red Roofs at Oldfield is on the left after about 50 m.
